My husband and I bought one of those inflatable beds that you plug into the wall. It's pretty amazing. No sweating over a foot pump. You just pull out the cord from its little compartment, plug it in, switch it on, and it inflates in minutes! Then you unplug it and put the cord back. It doesn't look like an air mattress, it looks like a bed! We got this for guests. I think it's quite comfy, but my husband, who has more aches and pains than I do, says he needs something harder. This one cost $63.99 or thereabouts, at Walmart. It's kind of like a big bag of air. I have 90 days to take it back if I change my mind. We're thinking of buying another one, the one that has cot-like legs which can allow air circulation underneath it. It's more heavy-duty and is currently on sale at Canadian Tire for $179.99 for a queen size. These things are really handy. I like that they can be deflated down to the size of a small suitcase.
