Posting schedule and other details
Hell Fake fans.  For those of you who are following Justice, I just want to let you know that I'll be posting Justice chapter 12 in a week, so if anyone is behind by a chapter or two, now would be a good time to get caught up.

Recently I forced myself to go shopping at one of our local department stores because they had a bra sale. It was buy two, get one free. I only planned to get three, but I ended up buying four! I don't enjoy bra shopping, but I lucked out this time in that I found a helpful sales girl right off the bat who understood what I was looking for and kept bringing me more bras to try while I was in the changing room. I bought a white one, a beige one, a black one and a purple one. The first three are functional, but the purple one is pretty.

While I was trying to find the down escalator, I inadvertently wandered into the shoe department where they were also having a sale. Yes, I bought a pair of shoes, too. Very comfortable Naturalizer slingbacks with about an inch and a quarter heel.

Last week I saw the movie The Fighter with Christian Bale and Mark Wahlberg. I loved it! You know how you can usually tell from the trailer whether a movie is going to be good or not? Well, from the first commercial I saw, I was enthralled. Everyone spoke in (to this Canadian) quite fascinating Bostonian accents. All the girlfriends with whom I usually go to movies never want to see fight or zombie movies, but luckily I have a sister who likes them as much as I do.

Okay, that's all I can think of that's new with me. Have a happy weekend, everyone!

Shoe traps are mean. And buying bras is (except for buying bikinis) the worst kind of shopping. I don`t think that anyone would look good in the cruel light they have in the changing cubicles.

Looking forward to the chapter!

It's a very cruel light. But I'm glad I went and got my bra shopping over with because it's really nice to reach into my lingerie drawer each morning now and pull out a new bra that actually fits, instead of asking myself which one doesn't look TOO bad and still has some support-power left.

As for the shoes, it was a very effective trap. It was the urban shopping equivalent of a deer falling into a pit full of sharp stakes. They got me! But I'm glad they got me because my new shoes are unbelievably comfortable. So comfortable, in fact, that I went back two days later and bought the same shoes in brown.

I'm happy that you're looking forward to the chapter! I'm looking forward to publishing it, as soon as I clean up whatever mistakes the betas find.

Just checking in to say I'm super excited for the next chapter of Justice! You planted the seeds in A New Day for Ryo's battle with the typical roles in a gay relationship, and I am most excited to see where that leads. I really like Norm, so I hope he and Ryo can be friends after the inevitable drama.

I was also wondering if we were going to revisit our friends JJ and Drake? I re-read the couple stories you have up about them, and there are still a lot of unanswered questions! I'm more interested in our main couple, of course(not to mention the plot! Oh Abernathy, karma is a commin' for you) but it is an interesting feeling knowing that there are other romantic developments going on meanwhile.

Also, more in response to your post, I find bra shopping MUCH more enjoyable than bikini shopping. And I agree, walking around in a new bra makes me feel ten times prettier. On the shoe side of things, I like boot shopping more than for regular shoes, which is unfortunate because I end up spending twice as much money per pair. I'm surprised you didn't get another pair yourself! I seem to remember a whole collection of boots drowning at some point? Does that still need to be rebuilt?

Anyway, I look forward to new developments, and it was nice stopping by!

Ah yes, boots. Don't think I didn't check them out! Unfortunately, they were all boring OR super high heeled. If I want cool boots, there's a little store I can go to that has footwear that's out of the ordinary. Sadly, the prices are way above ordinary too, so I only go there if I'm feeling particularly rich.

I'm not going to rebuild my boot collection to its former excessive levels. I used to have about 20 pairs! Actually, maybe it was more than that. Currently I've got leather boots in brown, black, grey, blue, red, and orange. I've decided not to get any more browns or blacks. I'm a total sucker for colors, though. My blue ones are looking a little faded, and I'd love a pair in green if I could ever find one that's comfortable enough (and not the cost of a used car).

The current chapter of the story takes place on the same Monday night where Drake and JJ are doing their stakeout shift of Tony DeLuca's house in Oyster Bay. All kinds of things are due to happen to them there, but I'm not going to include the details in Justice because Justice is Dee and Ryo's story. I think the Oyster Bay adventure would be better suited to a one shot or a smaller two or three chapter story that focuses solely on Drake and JJ.

Thanks for liking Norm! He's pretty likable, isn't he? The people who tend to hit on Ryo are usually jerks like the Commissioner of Detective Greenspan, so I thought it was about time we had a likable and viable suitor for him. Dee is going to be pissed!
